Solid line

White longitudinal road marking that may not be crossed or stepped on.

Definition

A solid line is a continuous white longitudinal road marking that separates lanes or directions and may not be crossed or stepped on. Its purpose is to prevent dangerous overtaking and protect zones with reduced visibility.
