About sacatelcarnet

We are a team of road education professionals and technology developers working to make driving theory exam preparation more accessible in Spain.

Why sacatelcarnet exists

In Spain, the pass rate for the B license theory exam is around 65%. That means one in three people fail on their first attempt. In many cases, it's not a lack of study but outdated material, poorly organized tests, or a lack of real progress tracking.

sacatelcarnet was created to solve that: a free tool with updated questions, real exam simulations, and a system that tells you exactly where you fail and what you need to review. No tricks, no hidden costs.

Our team

The sacatelcarnet team combines experience in road education, software development, and product design. We work with industry professionals who know the DGT syllabus from the inside: driving school instructors, exam coaches, and traffic regulation specialists.

All content goes through a review process that includes verification against current regulations, comparison with the official question bank, and pedagogical validation. Our goal is that every question you practice is accurate, relevant, and useful for your exam.

Our principles

Updated content

Our question bank is updated every time the DGT publishes changes to the syllabus or regulations. We never use outdated questions or recycled material.

Accuracy and rigor

Every question goes through review before publication. We verify answers against current regulations and the official DGT syllabus.

Free access

We believe theory exam preparation should not be a financial barrier. The free plan includes simulations, topic-based tests, and progress tracking.

Data-driven learning

Our smart review system analyzes your mistakes and creates personalized sessions with spaced repetition to improve where you need it most.

Data and transparency

Our question bank covers all 15 types of driving permits and licenses managed by the DGT in Spain: AM, A1, A2, B, B+E, C1, C1+E, C, C+E, D1, D1+E, D, D+E, LCM, and LVA.

Questions follow the official exam format: multiple choice with 3 possible answers. For the B license, the exam consists of 30 questions in 30 minutes with a maximum of 3 errors. For professional permits (C, D, and their variants), the exam includes a common test and a specific test.

We update content every time the DGT publishes changes to the syllabus, regulations, or exam format. The last complete review of the question bank was carried out in 2026.
