7-day plan

7 days before the DGT theory exam

Diagnostic, topic revision, simulation. 10–20 minutes a day. No signup.

The last week before the exam is the most strategic. It's not the time to learn new topics — it's the time to identify your weak spots and shrink them. This 7-day plan is built for exactly that: day 1 runs a quick diagnostic to see which topics you know and which you don't, days 2 through 6 cover the highest-weight blocks in the optimal order, and day 7 validates your preparation with a full real-format simulation. Each day is a short test that fits in a coffee break — the idea isn't to exhaust you, it's to arrive at the exam with confidence and no surprises. Everything free, everything in your browser, no accounts, no personal data.

Day 1: diagnostic — 10 questions in 3 minutes to see where to start.

Start day 1

When you finish day 1, come back to this page and continue with day 2.

Your plan, day by day

Each day is a short test focused on a specific block. The order is designed to halve your mistakes by mid-plan — the last week works only in this order.

Day 1Diagnostic

Identify the topics you've mastered and the ones that need more work.

Take a 10-question quick test in real format. When you finish, note the topics where you got mistakes — those are the focus for days 2 through 6.

Open day 1
Day 2Signs and right of way

Cover the two highest-weight blocks in the real exam.

Signs (vertical, horizontal, beaconing) and right of way (intersections, roundabouts, yield, stop). If you missed several in day 1, today closes most of that gap.

Open day 2
Day 3Speed and traffic rules

Memorise speed limits by road type and review general rules.

Generic speed in urban, expressway, motorway. Adequate speed. Speeding penalties. Also review general traffic rules — they always come up.

Open day 3
Day 4Alcohol, drugs and road safety

Close the block with the heaviest criminal penalties and review vulnerable road users.

Legal limits (general 0.25 mg/l, novice and professional 0.15 mg/l). Zero tolerance for drugs. Refusal = criminal offence. And pedestrians, cyclists, children at zebra crossings.

Open day 4
Day 5Your weakest topics

Revisit what you missed on day 1 and reduce your error rate.

Go back to the quick test — this time you should miss fewer. If you find a topic you keep missing (e.g. manoeuvres or environment), jump to the corresponding topic page.

Open day 5
Day 6General review

Practise unscoped to catch any remaining gaps.

A topic-test session mixing the ones that gave you trouble. The idea is to reach day 7 with zero surprises.

Open day 6
Day 7Final simulation

Validate your preparation with a full real-format exam.

A 30-question simulation like the official exam, timed. If you miss 3 or fewer, you'll pass. If you miss more, identify the topic and do one last pass that night.

Open day 7

Exam tomorrow?

Skip to day 7 and take the full simulation directly. If you pass it with 3 or fewer mistakes, you'll pass the real exam. If you miss more, identify the topic and do one last pass that night.

Frequently asked questions

How much time per day does the plan need?

Between 10 and 20 minutes per day. Each day is a short 10-question test plus a few minutes to review mistakes. Day 7 is the longest because it's a full 30-question simulation (~30 minutes).

Do I need to sign up?

No. The plan doesn't need an account, email or password. Your progress is stored in your own browser. If you switch device or browser, you'd start from scratch.

What if I can't start 7 days before the exam?

The plan also works in 5 days if you skip day 5 (intermediate review) and day 6 (general review). Below 5 days the plan loses effectiveness because day 1 (diagnostic) and day 7 (simulation) are the anchors — you need at least 3 days between them for topic revision to be useful.

Does it work for A1, A2, AM, C, D permits?

The plan is built for permit B (car), the most popular exam. The logic (diagnostic → topics → simulation) also works for other permits, but the specific questions and topics differ. We're preparing dedicated versions for the other permits.

What if I fail the day 7 simulation?

Don't panic. Identify the topic(s) where you missed most and do one last pass that same night with the corresponding topic page. The official exam will give you another chance if you don't pass on the first try.
