DGT tests by topic

Practise each block of the Permit B theory exam separately. 10 questions per topic, no signup.

DGT theory exam questions for Permit B fall into several thematic blocks. Some — signs, right of way, speed — concentrate most mistakes on first attempts. Others — environment, first aid, basic mechanics — come up less often, but can be the difference between passing and failing. Practising block by block is the fastest way to identify which topics you've mastered, which ones need more revision, and where to invest study time before the official exam. These tests are designed to be short and focused: 10 questions per topic, in the same format as the real exam, with explanations. When you finish each one, take a full 30-question simulation to validate that you're ready.

Frequently asked questions

Why separate tests by topic?

Practising block by block is much more efficient than repeating full simulations: you identify the topics that give you trouble, focus on them, and only return to full simulations once the individual blocks are solid.

How many questions in each topic test?

Each topic test has 10 questions, like the quick test. The idea is short revisions you can fit between driving-school classes or on public transport.

Are the questions filtered by topic?

Yes, for the topics we have catalogued in the DGT bank (signs, right of way, speed, alcohol and drugs). For the topics we are still preparing, we serve representative questions from the general Permit B block in the meantime.

Mastered the blocks?

Once you've completed the topics that give you the most trouble, validate your readiness with a full 30-question simulation in real-exam format.
