Definition
High beams (luces largas) illuminate about 100 metres ahead. They can only be used outside built-up areas, on unlit roads, and when no other vehicle is being met or followed at short distance, to avoid dazzling them.

- Switch to low beams when meeting or following another vehicle within 150 m.
