Type-approved seat or device that adapts the seat belt to children under 1.35 m tall.

Definition

A child restraint system (CRS) is a type-approved seat or device that adapts the seat belt to children's bodies. Mandatory for all children under 1.35 m, who must travel in rear seats. CRS groups by weight (0, 0+, I, II, III) or modern i-Size by height.
