Must facilitate the manoeuvre as far as possible, under Article 73.1. In built-up areas, Article 73.2 provides for moving laterally where possible or slowing, stopping if necessary. Do not change lanes dangerously, and an indicator does not create automatic priority: the bus must also signal and avoid risks. The general duty to facilitate is not limited to urban roads.
