Main beam, alone or together with dipped beams, under Article 100. The duty concerns vehicles equipped with it, rather than every vehicle without exception. Change to dipped beams when required, especially to avoid dazzling, including through a preceding vehicle’s mirrors. Just any front light is insufficient.
