Proceed right following the arrow when safe, allowing vehicles in the receiving lane to pass and without endangering people crossing. Annex I, section 4.2.g, requires following the arrow when occupying a lane reserved exclusively for that movement, or a non-exclusive lane needed by that flow. A green arrow does not create that obligation in every lane. In this scenario, do not block those who must turn by waiting to continue straight.
