The front fog light
It may use its front fog lamps if fitted, subject to lighting rules. Heavy rain significantly reducing visibility permits their use. Rear fog lamps are reserved for especially unfavourable conditions, such as very heavy rain, and alone are insufficient to light the road. Rain does not automatically require hazard warning lights.
