Fit elastic bands over those surfaces so the bands form the outer contact with the pavement, under Article 12.5.1 of the General Vehicle Regulations. Generic authorisation does not replace this requirement. Otherwise it may not travel with those surfaces on the road; carrying it on another vehicle avoids its own running surfaces contacting the road.
