Correct answer
Packing the nose by inserting material.
Do not insert material to pack the nose. Make the scene safe without endangering yourself, call 112 and report the bleeding and casualty’s condition. Do not remove the helmet to pack the nose or automatically move an unconscious casualty: spinal injury may be present. Monitor responsiveness and breathing and follow 112 instructions; an immediate threat to life or the need to maintain the airway may require action. Bleeding alone does not prove a skull fracture, and this should not be confused with a spontaneous nosebleed without trauma.
