Contraflow lanes opened for traffic flow are reserved for motorcycles and passenger cars without trailers; a lorry may not use them. Opening a lane for roadworks is a separate case: vehicles authorised to use the road under works may enter unless expressly prohibited. Article 41 conditions then apply: at least dipped headlights by day and night, between 60 and 80 km/h or lower established or signed limits, and no entry into normal-direction lanes, even to overtake.
