The technical inspection card, or ITV card. It is not the insurance receipt or road-tax payment receipt. This does not mean insurance is irrelevant: proof of compulsory insurance is a prerequisite for any ITV under Royal Decree 920/2017. The applicable vehicle-identification and documentation requirements must also be met.
