If, as we approach a level crossing, we see that the barrier or half-barrier is about to go up or is moving, we must stop our vehicle behind the other vehicles and wait to cross once the barrier has risen fully and vehicles are allowed to pass. No matter how many other vehicles we see crossing the level crossing while the barrier is still moving, we must never follow their example.
