Adapt speed so you can stop within the area actually visible and before an obstacle under Article 45. Stopping distance includes reaction and braking, so long illumination alone is insufficient. Observe limits and consider rain, grip, bends and glare. Use dipped headlights when dazzling is possible and reduce speed as needed; driving on position lights alone is not a solution.
