Once you have checked the traffic, the driver must signal the manoeuvre clearly and in good time, using the appropriate direction indicator or their arm. The indicator signal must be kept on at all times until the manoeuvre is finished, that is, until the vehicle occupies the corresponding lane and the manoeuvre is considered complete.
