Correct answer
Respect the priority of the preceding vehicle that has signalled its manoeuvre.
Respect the priority of the vehicle ahead that has indicated an intention to move to the same side. Also check nobody behind has already begun overtaking and that enough space exists. If the preceding vehicle does not exercise that priority after a reasonable time, you may begin if safe, warning it first with an acoustic or light signal. An indicator does not authorise an unsafe manoeuvre.
