Give way to vehicles on the road and check that joining is safe, stopping if necessary. Article 72 requires checking circumstances and other users’ position, path and speed, and signalling your intention. Signalling gives no priority. Do not extend this case to every intersection: junction priority depends on its rules and signals. Article 73 requires other drivers to facilitate joining where possible, without removing the joining driver’s precautions.
