Two attempts
Two attempts as a general rule under article 51.2 of the General Driver Regulations, rather than four or one. Attempts in the same application must be no more than six months apart except illness or other justified exceptional cases; missing a scheduled test consumes the attempt unless a justified exception applies. An attempt should not be confused with each individual exercise making up the aptitude tests.
