Correct answer
Vehicles requiring special authorisation to travel.
On bridges with a carriageway width of less than 6 metres, vehicles requiring special authorisation to travel are prohibited from passing each other. This is because, for each vehicle to have a road width of at least 3 metres, large vehicles or those requiring special authorisation to travel cannot pass each other safely on narrow bridges. The order of priority on these bridges is governed by the existing signs. If there is a priority-over-vehicles-from-the-opposite-direction sign or a give-way sign at one end of the narrowing, the vehicle arriving from that end must reverse to let the other pass if they cannot pass each other. In the absence of signs, the priority order established for narrow sections applies.
