Use the relevant direction indicator or the prescribed arm signal, visible to others. An arm extended horizontally with the palm down indicates the side the hand points towards; an arm bent upwards with the palm extended indicates the opposite side. For example, from the left side of a passenger car, the left arm bent upwards indicates movement to the right. Signal in advance and end the signal when the new path is adopted.
