Lanes reserved for certain vehicles or manoeuvres, under Articles 34 and 35. For example, a bus-only lane is not added as an ordinary lane for those rules. This is not a universal exclusion for every calculation in the Regulations: each provision has its own scope. Reversible or additional lanes are not excluded merely because of those names.
