Driving in reverse is prohibited, but there are certain cases in which it is permitted: when it is not possible to drive forwards or change direction, or as a supplementary manoeuvre required by another manoeuvre. In all cases, the distance must be the minimum indispensable, it may not exceed fifteen metres and a road junction may not be entered.
