BDifficulty 1/5

If an ITV roadworthiness test is negative because of very serious defects, how must the vehicle be moved from the test station to its destination?

Correct answer

By means independent of the vehicle itself, such as recovery transport.

By means independent of the vehicle itself, such as transport by a recovery vehicle. Very serious defects make it unfit to travel on public roads. After repair it must undergo another inspection within the regulatory deadline, no more than two months from the first negative test. This differs from an unfavourable test for serious defects, which has different travel provisions.
