Correct answer
Repair the defects observed and undergo a new inspection.
Repair the defects and return to an ITV station within the granted period, which cannot exceed two months from the first unfavourable inspection. Serious defects prohibit ordinary road use: only transfer to the garage or, where applicable, regularisation and return to ITV are permitted under Article 11. You may choose the reinspection station after repair; going elsewhere without repairing does not replace that duty. A negative result for very serious defects requires transport by means other than the vehicle itself.
