In a temporary additional lane, obey the delineation, use at least dipped headlights day and night, and travel between 60 and 80 km/h, or at lower speeds where established or posted. Vehicles normally required to use the shoulder do not use this arrangement. A fault alone does not require every vehicle up to 3,500 kg to use the shoulder: article 36 also requires an emergency, abnormally low speed and serious disruption.
