Only for necessary overtaking and left turns under Article 30.1.b. Normal travel uses the right-hand lane, never the furthest-left lane. Before overtaking, check that an oncoming vehicle has not occupied the central lane to overtake. Return safely to the right after overtaking. A left turn is a different manoeuvre: do not return to the original road after completing the turn.
