BDifficulty 2/5

On a two-way road, an island separates the two directions and is not located wholly within one direction’s part of the road. With no different instruction, which side must you pass on?

Correct answer

To its right.

To the island’s right, in your direction of travel, under Article 43.1. The exception allowing either side applies to elements on a one-way road or within the part assigned to only one direction. This question excludes that exception. Also observe applicable signs.
