When, on urban roads with traffic in both directions, we have to park our vehicle on the carriageway or hard shoulder, we shall place the vehicle as close as possible to the right-hand edge in the direction of travel. If, on the other hand, the road has traffic in one direction only, we may also park our vehicle on the left side of the carriageway.
