Xenon gas-discharge lamps. Their ignition system uses high-voltage pulses, so trained personnel must handle them under manufacturer procedures. This does not mean they can never be replaced: the risk means an untrained driver without suitable equipment should not do so. Do not confuse this system with a conventional halogen bulb.
