A2Difficulty 1/5

If I am riding a motorcycle and come across a steady amber traffic light, how should I behave?

Correct answer

If it is possible to do so safely, I will stop as if it were a red light.

A steady amber light requires stopping under the same conditions as a steady red. The exception is being so close to the stopping place when it illuminates that you cannot stop before the signal with sufficient safety. Do not accelerate to get through or treat it as flashing amber, which has a different meaning.
