Connect them in series: join the positive terminal of one battery to the negative terminal of the other; the two remaining terminals provide nominally 24 V. A parallel connection joins positives together and negatives together and remains nominally 12 V. Follow the manufacturer’s wiring diagram and avoid short circuits; this is not a procedure for improvising a jump start.
