The minimum is 20 hours: 16 for the common part and 4 for the specific part, under article 5 of Order INT/914/2024. This differs from partial point recovery, whose minimum course duration is 10 hours. Completing the licence recovery course does not automatically reinstate the licence: the remaining requirements and the corresponding test must also be met.
