Every six months under Article 6.1.b of Royal Decree 920/2017 for M1 vehicles used as ambulances. Up to and including five years, inspections are annual; beyond five, half-yearly. Inspection does not replace maintenance or permit driving with a dangerous fault between inspections. Also check the particular vehicle’s inspection result and expiry date.
