Correct answer
Over twelve years old.
The general rule requires the passenger to be over twelve years old. The moped must be authorised to carry a passenger, who must sit astride, with feet on the footrests and behind the rider, complying with applicable protective-equipment rules. Article 12.2 exceptionally allows passengers over seven with their father, mother, guardian or an adult authorised by them, subject to the required conditions. Do not confuse the rear-seat passenger rule with a sidecar occupant.
