As general guidance, the strong central area should be behind the head at eye level and the top aligned with the top of the head. Adjust and lock it according to the manufacturer’s instructions, as close to the head as appropriate positioning allows. It should not be set as neck support; it helps reduce cervical injury risk without eliminating it. Eye height need not be identified with an exact centre of gravity.
