Chain of survival. It covers recognising the emergency and calling for help, early CPR and defibrillation, specialised care and support for recovery. If someone is unresponsive, call 112 and follow its instructions; if they are not breathing normally, begin CPR and use an AED when available. Do not perform CPR on every injured person merely because a crash occurred.
