Correct answer
8 points.
When we obtain our first driving licence in Spain, we always start with an initial credit of 8 points. During the first two years, if we do not commit offences resulting in the loss of points, our credit will automatically increase to 12 points. In addition, if we retain all our points without being penalised, we will receive additional bonuses. After three years without offences, we will be awarded 2 additional points, and another point after the following three years, allowing us to accumulate up to a maximum of 15 points.
