Position lights and dipped beams, whether that built-up road section is sufficiently lit or not, under articles 99 and 101. The rear number plate must also be illuminated, under article 103. Position lights alone are insufficient for night driving; main beam should not be kept on as normal driving lighting within built-up areas.
