When turning a B+E combination, what should you do?

Correct answer

Plan for the trailer path and sufficient space to turn safely.

The trailer can follow a tighter path than the towing vehicle and the combination needs sufficient space. Plan the turn and check both sides to avoid kerbs, pedestrians and other vehicles. Taking a wider path does not authorise entering another lane without checking or ignoring signs or priority. Plan for the combination’s actual dimensions.
