Overtaking must be on the right under Article 82.2.
Passing on the right as required by Article 82.2 is an exception: for example, passing a vehicle clearly signalling a left turn, with sufficient space and maximum care. Article 87.1.c also covers roundabouts, expressly signed priority and passing two-wheeled vehicles. An ordinary intersection is not exempt merely because it has one lane per direction, nor is priority without the required explicit sign sufficient. Tunnels are regulated separately.
