Use position lights and main beam, under Articles 99 and 100. Under these conditions main beam is required, not merely optional. Switch to dipped headlights if dazzling is possible; dipped-light rules also apply if main beam is absent or travelling at no more than 40 km/h without using it. Front fog lights have specific permitted conditions, including certain narrow winding sections, and rear fog lights require particularly adverse conditions: darkness alone does not justify them.
