Correct answer
A clearance of at least 1.50 metres.
At least 1.50 metres between the most protruding parts of the two vehicles, under Article 85.5 of the General Traffic Regulations for two-wheeled vehicles overtaking outside built-up areas. Also maintain the clearance and conditions needed to complete the manoeuvre safely. Lorry speed or size does not remove this minimum; this is not a general 1.50-metre rule for any car overtaking a lorry.
