Correct answer
The distance that allows me to stop without colliding with the vehicle ahead in the event of sudden braking and that allows others to overtake me
A gap allowing you to stop without a collision if the vehicle ahead brakes suddenly and leaving a following driver room to overtake safely. Adapt it to speed, grip and braking; riding in a group does not remove these duties. Article 54.3’s exceptions to leaving room for overtaking do not remove the safe stopping-gap requirement.
