C+EDifficulty 3/5

A bus tows a trailer wider than 2.10 m. While travelling, when must the trailer’s outline marker lights be on?

Correct answer

Between sunset and sunrise, or in significantly reduced visibility, or in tunnels, underpasses and S-5 sections.

Between sunset and sunrise, in weather or environmental conditions significantly reducing visibility, and through tunnels, underpasses or S-5 signed sections, including by day. Article 99 requires position lights and, above 2.10 m width, outline marker lights. The requirement is not limited to night or excluded for trailers. Use other required lighting too.
