Correct answer
Request a duplicate.
Request a duplicate from the DGT. Article 11 of the General Driver Regulations covers damage as well as loss or theft. A duplicate retains the original licence’s validity period; it does not renew or extend it. Article 10’s 15-day deadline for reporting changes in personal details is not a general deadline for requesting a duplicate because of damage.
