The PAS rule (Protect, Alert, Assist) states that if we are victims of or witnesses to a road accident, the first guideline we must follow is to protect ourselves and the accident area so as not to worsen the possible consequences of the incident. We will then alert the health authorities and assist any injured people as far as possible.
