Use the fuse type and current rating specified by the manufacturer for that circuit, with a suitable voltage rating. The fuse voltage rating must equal or exceed the circuit voltage; it is not the voltage at which it blows. Do not increase the current rating to stop it blowing, as this may leave wiring inadequately protected. Increasing the voltage rating alone is also insufficient. If it blows again, identify the cause; a higher-rated fuse does not inevitably burn out the starter motor.
