Correct answer
When a sign indicating the end of the restriction or a different maximum speed is found.
An end-of-speed-limit sign, an end-of-prohibitions sign or another maximum-speed sign. R-301 also has other ending conditions: when sharing a post or panel with a hazard warning, it ends when that hazard ends; on a non-priority road, it ceases after leaving a junction with a priority road. The question excludes those cases. Ending the signposted restriction does not remove general limits or the need to adapt speed to conditions.
